    TJ note

RB Thomas Jones is closing in on the 10,000-yard mark in rushing yards. He's now 322 yards away from becoming the 25th runner in NFL history to top that mark. Jones needs 39 rushing yards to become the first player in NFL history to run for 500-plus yards with five different teams. Jones has played seven games against the Bills, carrying 126 times for 681 yards.

I always thought the Bears Screwed up letting him go... hes gotten better as hes gotten older... Obviously at some point hes going to regress... but I love watching him run Jets ****ed up letting him go too. I only wish the Bolts picked him up... they need a running game.

I'm a huge fan of Thomas Jones. What a team leader he is. He is having a great season for the Cheifs . I hope they make the playoffs, beat the jets and go all the way. Arizona was not a good starting place for him ,but he perservered there and through a couple of seasons with Gruden and Tampa Bay,being in the Shadow of Michael Pittman,by the way ,where is he?. The Bears were crazy for letting him go. They should have never got Cedric BUST Benson,Jones could have perhaps gotten the Bears a super Bowl win but they brought Benson in and he fumbled. Thomas Jones rarely rarely fumbles. The jets were crazy. He broke all kinds of record there. Look at the Cheifs ,the're 4-2 ,off to their best start in many years, thanks to TJ.

the Bears are dumb haha, they let two franchise RB's walk.
Forte is not bad at all, very versatile and can catch the ball, but he cant run like TJ or Benson

Benson is a franchise back in Cincy.

If he can have two more good seasons he would be in the top 10 in all-time rushing. 4 more good years he will be in the top 5.

what kind of numbers are you calling "good"? where is he at right now and where it #10 back at on the all time yds list?

I'm talking about 1,000+ seasons like he has had the past 5 years. He is on pace for another 1,200 yard season this year which would put him somewhere around 10,400 yards. Marshall Faulk is #10 and has 12,279. Jerome Bettis is #5 and has 13,662. If he can stay put up 1,000+ for another 4 years in will be in the top 5 of all-time in rushing, right behind Emmitt Smith, Walter Payton and Barry Sanders and also should be in the top 10 for All-Purpose yards.
